Lisa in Paris
A Kinesiologist at the Olympics
How working as a Kinesiologist and a Broadcast Technical Director in Paris is the ultimate for me…
Firstly a little background to the story.
I have worked in TV since leaving school… I have had various jobs within that time… from full time at ATN 7, working as a tape operator, Technical Operations Trainee, Boom Operator, CCU Operator and Technical Director.
Leaving 7, I went Freelance in 1997, having been a Freelance CCU operator and Technical Director since.
My Olympic adventures started way back in 1992 at Barcelona, which to this day, is the best work experience I have ever had!
And, having worked at 4 other Olympic Games – Sydney, London, Rio and Paris…I would have to say that Paris comes a close second to Barcelona….
1997 was a big year for me, as I also started counsellor training, which culminated in graduating from a Degree in Counselling in 2003… and with much water under the bridge, and many experiences, I was led to training in Kinesiology all the way forward to 2015… and to the present… where I still work in a mix of Tv and Kinesiology.
