Do you remember?
The day before the harsh word?
Do you remember the day before your heart sank a little?
Do you remember the day before your mind became anxious?
Do you remember the day before your spirit was torn?
I remember!
I remember hugs that warmed my heart,
I remember unbridled joy,
I remember exploring with an open heart,
I remember trusting openly,
I remember pure beauty in all things,
I remember laughter from deep within,
I remember fun in small things.
I remember my heart.
I remember my spirit.
I remember my being.
I remember.

This is the story of two little girls both rendered useless both powerless both voiceless. One little girl who’s hair was golden whose smile infectious and mind remarkable. One little girl who shared her space who’s private life was on display who slept and awoke within the noise of the day. One […]
We learn most about ourselves and the world around us when we find the courage to reach into what fears us the most… I feel you every breath. You are with me every step. You make me turn and squirm. You make me sit, and you make me stand. You wake me, […]
Heart Break and Travel force us to open to new possibilities, to change and to God…. The journey was a trial in itself, The distance of never ending miles, the tracks of never ending rattle, guiding me home. The place that gave ME back. That walk up the hill full of promise and […]
Light and shade within us all.. we run from both at different times.. we embrace both at different time…This is a reflection of my own light and shade… Like a grizzly bear you growl and claw my life away. The honey pot so enticing sweet perfect. I want you I need you […]
In the search for joy, in the search for meaning, in the search for getting through the day.. we look in all the corners of the globe, we look next to us, we look everywhere but inside ourselves….. Wisdom is here now has been and will be. I read I listen I follow. […]
A man came in to see me in clinic… he sat…. the rest is history! The privilege of holding space for healing, for feeling and for safety never leaves me… and that privilege allows great movement, great feeling and great healing. And then… he sat And then… and then… And then he […]
Sometimes we are buried by our memories, by our pressures, by our long lost dreams and our regrets. I wrote this piece after being with a friend who was finding life so hard – hard to remember the time before the troubles, before the hardship and in the process, had lost herself. Do you […]
I walked through the bush on my own – no voices to distract me, no laughter to turn my head, no footsteps to follow. What followed was a kind of awakening, a kind of revelation of nature, of God, of creation and of me. This is a very early piece of mine, when my words […]
I was moved and inspired at Minyon Falls – I was confused at the idea to ‘just be’, of a ‘pure life’ and ‘harmony’. When we sit in quiet, calm the voices around us and listen to the silence, we can hear so much wisdom, so much of ourselves that we miss every day. […]
