Kinesiology FAQ’s.
What is Kinesiology?
- Kinesiology is the ‘study of movement’ – physical, emotional, spiritual, mental and energetic. Kinesiology will move, shift, clear, energise and even heal all these aspects of you holistically – bringing all parts of you into alignment – so that you can live freely, calmly and confidently again.
- ‘Holistic Kinesiology’ is a stand alone therapy – while Kinesiology is a complex and many-branched modality – it is also used by different professionals to enhance their practice – for example Chiropractors, Nutritionalists, or Counsellors.
- You may be ‘stuck’ in pain, anxiety, dis-ease, experiencing overwhelming emotional states, or uncertainty about your place in the world… Kinesiology gently, yet powerfully, moves you from pain to calm, from anxiety to balance, from dis-ease to peacefulness.
- Kinesiology is an alternative therapy that uniquely uses ‘muscle monitoring’, or ‘bio-feedback’ to access your subconscious, enabling you to discover the underlying cause of your dis-ease and stress. And, further, ‘muscle monitoring’ accesses each persons body wisdom to discover what they need to reset and re-energise in mind, body and spirit.
- Kinesiology, based in Traditional Chinese Medicine, uses the movement of Qi (energy) through meridians as the basis for health and wellness. Kinesiology uses acupressure to move and clear what is stuck, blocked, stagnant, or exhausted in a holistic way.
- Kinesiology is a mix of modern sciences and ancient wisdoms – each person is treated holistically to bring mind, body and spirit into alignment. Kinesiology uses the wisdoms of energy flow, the mind-body-spirit connection, and natural therapies (including flower essences, essential oils), alongside the modern scientific insights of light, sound, colour, quantum physics, epigenetics and psychology, to bring all parts of each person into calm, flow and balance.
- Kinesiology can be termed as a ‘somatic’ therapy – the mind-body-spirit connection is the ultimate star that underlies stress and dis-ease. The body holds emotions, experiences and memories, and when these become stuck, overwhelming, or even traumatic, the person experiences the symptoms that take them off balance into stress and dis-ease – pain, anxiety, autoimmune, hormonal imbalance, lack of confidence etc.
- Kinesiology is an alternative therapy that works alongside your medical treatments to support and calm your whole system. Kinesiology treats you as a whole person, looking at all aspects of your life, rather than just your individual symptoms alone. Working alongside cancer, auto-immune, anxiety, and chronic pain treatments and more, to bring a calm and ease through the difficult and often chaotic and traumatic time.
- Every cell in your body resonates at a certain frequency, and can go ‘out of tune’ easily through stress, pain, dis-ease, and even through what you think or believe. Kinesiology alters and resets those frequencies of mind, body and spirit that are out of tune.
