The magic of using this indigenous based practice as we move through the Earth’s cycles, enables us to be live with ease and flow throughout each season.
The Winter Wayapa Practice Workshop:
June 7th, 6.30pm – Online.
As we move into winter, the season for hibernation, internalising and resting, it is easy to lose connection to the earth – you stay inside more, rug up more, eat more ‘non-seasonal’ comfort food and may not see friends as much…
However, it is easy to loose contact:
- with what food and movement your body needs
- with the environment around you
- with the emotions that help with rest and hibernation.
Combining the Wayapa Wuurk Practice with the Winter emotions of the TCM Water Element, this workshop brings together two ancient healing modalities to support you mind, body and spirit as you move into Winter.
As Wayapa teaches, we heal and support the Earth, as we heal and support each other.. and so, this Winter Wayapa Practice Workshop has been developed by Lisa to help you connect to yourself, mind, body and spirit, as well as offer a reciprocity to the Earth and all of creation.
The 13 Wayapa Elements and their individual movements will help you lean into your Winter mind-body-spirit-earth health and vitality.

What to expect online?
A 1.5 hour workshop including:
- a little theory, but not too much..
- mindfulness and a guided meditation
- movement through the Wayapa Practice
- Time for reflection or sharing.
You will leave with a foundational understanding of the Wayapa Wuurk Practice, and be able to use this beautiful practice every day if you like, to stay connected throughout your Winter hibernation!
